One of the things I love most about Muncie and Delaware County is how people show up for one another—especially during the holidays.
I’m proud to serve on the board of Secret Families Christmas Charity, an organization that brings Christmas to local families who might otherwise go without. And right now, volunteer registration is officially open!
There are several ways to get involved, including joining a shopping team, helping wrap gifts or delivering Christmas trees to families.
Shopping is already filling up quickly, so if that’s how you’d like to volunteer, now is the time to get your team registered.
Make It a Family or Group Tradition
One of the best parts of Secret Families is that kids of all ages can be involved. It’s a great opportunity to volunteer together as a family, gather a group of friends, involve your coworkers or make it a service project for your organization.
It’s fun, it’s meaningful, and it gives everyone a chance to experience what can happen when an entire community comes together to help its neighbors.
